This classic cocktail is super refreshing and all natural – no store Margarita mix here! The fresh squeezed juices do all the magic, so enjoy the show.

Ingredients

  • 1 orange
  • 1 lemon
  • 2 limes
  • 1.5 oz of your favorite tequila
  • Dash of salt
  • Spoonful simple syrup (recipe below)
  • Batch Simple Syrup
    • ¼ cup water
    • ¼ cup sugar

Instructions

Make the batch of simple syrup

Boil a ¼ cup water and ¼ cup sugar on medium-high heat until the sugar disintegrates. It should take only a few minutes. Set aside and let cool. You can use the extra syrup in other drinks or recipes.

Make and serve

Using a handheld juicer, juice the orange, lemon, and limes and transfer to a cocktail glass.

Add 1.5 oz of tequila, a spoonful of simple syrup and a handful of ice. Dash with salt and stir well. Garnish with a lime wedge.
